La Petite Ecole adapts its teaching to the children’s pace of learning and follows the guidelines of the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE) on the alternation of work and rest periods. The school also adapts to its host country and its calendar is based on certain vacations and annual vacation periods. The school year usually begins in early September and ends in early July.
