Biography
I teach English, and English as a second language (ESL) as well as English as a foreign language (EFL), to children from a wide range of nationalities and cultural backgrounds since 2008. As a parent to two children, I always like to learn more about child development and early years education.
I first started working with preschool pupils in 2017, realizing my dream of teaching abroad after finishing my Master’s in Composition Studies and English Teaching. After moving from California to Bangkok with my wife and my adventurous son, I started teaching at the multilingual preschool here in the city. Through this experience, I became acquainted with the principles of Montessori, Reggio Emilia and education through play. I am always inspired by the fact that I get to witness and help my pupils develop as critical thinkers, competent communicators and imaginative and friendly human beings.
I love working at La Petite Ecole because its philosophy is in keeping with my own and it gives young citizens of the world a great bilingual foundation in a wonderful, united world. In my free time, I like to play the guitar, cycle and, above all, travel and explore nature with my family.
